Iran doc 'Meta Marathon' screens in Germany

Iranian documentary 'Meta Marathon' has been screened at the Iranian Film Festival in Cologne, Germany.

Directed by Saeed Keshavarz, the flick delves into the social issue of poverty. It shows a young village man named Qodrat who can win a marathon and now is looking forward to compete at a meta-marathon.

Doing so, the young man is trying to change his living conditions from destitute to making his ends meet.

The film is soon to be screened at the Art and Experience cinemas.

The festival is dedicated to Iranian cinema for four days.

The Iranian Film Festival Köln under the banner "Visions of Iran" was held on May 31 to June 3, 2018 in Cologne, western Germany.
